NaporesonexF.C.T. & Eff. granules

All in one complementary & synergistically designed combination for comprehensive care for patient suffering from osteoporosis.

Each film coated tablets contains:

Risedronate sodium 35 mg (eq. to Residronic acid 32.5 mg).

Each sachet of effervescent granules contains:

Calcium carbonate 2500 mg (eq. to 1000 mg elemental Calcium) and Cholecalciferol 880 I.U. (Vitamin D3) sachets of effervescent granules.

  • Risedronate sodium: is a pyridinyl bisphosphonate that binds to bone hydroxyapatite and inhibits osteoclast mediated bone resorption. So the bone turnover is reduced while the osteoblast activity and bone mineralization is preserved.
  • Naporesonex: is a dose dependent formula showing increased bone mass and biomechanical skeletal strength demonstrating decreases in biochemical markers of bone turnover within one month and reached a maximum in 3-6 months.
  • Naporesonex: treatment effectiveness was seen at the end of the first year of treatment and benefits were also demonstrated in women with multiple fractures at baseline.
  • Naporesonex: in cases of calcium deficiency; supports the remineralization of the skeleton due to its content of calcium plus vitamin D3 that increases the intestinal absorption of calcium and counteracts the increase in parathyroid hormone (PTH) which is caused by calcium deficiency that causes increased bone resorption.
  • Naporesonex: used for the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis to reduce the risk of vertebral fractures, treatment of established postmenopausal osteoporosis and to reduce the risk of hip fractures.
  • Naporesonex: is only intended for use in patients for whom the amount of Calcium & Vitamin D3 included is considered to provide adequate supplementation.
Dosage & Administration:

The recommended dose in adults is one Naporesonex 35 mg tablet on the first day followed on the next day by one Calcium / Vitamin D3 sachet daily for 6 days.

This 7 days sequence is then repeated each week (advisedly to be taken at least 30 minutes before breakfast with a glass of plain water in an upright position).
